One of the better particle companies I’ve used
I’ve been using Cotswold Particles for quite a while now and they’ve become one of my go-to suppliers when I need freshly prepared particle bait.
One of the biggest positives for me has been the reliability. Every order I’ve placed has turned up within a few days, which is exactly what I want when I’m ordering bait for an upcoming session. I’ve used other particle companies in the past where delivery has dragged on or communication has been poor, but I haven’t had those problems with Cotswold Particles.
The quality of the bait has also been consistently good. I mainly order their hemp and maize, and it has always arrived looking and smelling fresh. There’s none of that sour or stale smell you occasionally get with prepared particles that have clearly been sitting around too long.
Most importantly, I’ve caught plenty of carp using it. Obviously no bait is going to magically guarantee you fish, but I’ve got confidence putting Cotswold Particles into the lake, and their hemp and maize have been responsible for plenty of successful sessions for me.
Their website is straightforward to use as well, so ordering what I need is quick and easy.
The only real negative is the price. I normally expect to pay a couple of quid more than I might with some other particle suppliers, but personally I’d rather pay slightly more knowing the bait is going to arrive quickly and in good condition.
Overall
For me, Cotswold Particles are one of the better particle bait companies out there. The delivery has always been quick, the bait has arrived freshly prepared, and I’ve had very good results using their hemp and maize.
They might not always be the cheapest option, but the consistency and reliability make the extra few quid worthwhile for me.
